Description

Sirius Cove Reserve to Taronga Zoo Wharf

The Curlew Camp Guided Walk takes you through the bushland surrounding Curlew Artists' Camp in Little Sirius Cove, Mosman. Along the way, you will discover the rich artistic history of the Mosman region and explore the original site of the camp.

The artistic history of the Mosman area stretches right back to the traditional custodians of this land, the Cammeraigal people, and moves forward through the arrival of the Europeans, the development of the Mosman region, to the Mosman both residents and visitors have come to know and love today. This guided walk allows you to place yourself within these contexts to uncover the lives and works of the talented artists who worked and resided in Mosman, particularly during the late 19th century.
